My maternal grandparents showed me unconditional love and support as a child. In my role as historian and matriarch of our family, I am also committed to helping the next generations understand who they are and how they fit into a chaotic and callous world. My children’s books are intended to help our children learn positive life values. Children absorb what others do and draw conclusions about what’s important in life from those experiences. In spite of what we consciously teach them, our children will emerge from childhood with an understanding of what their parents and role models value. My stories exemplify honoring God, loving people, and cherishing all creatures.
